- Ordering & Cancellations - If you are ordering for a future ship date, we will reserve your stock for your requested ship date, or for the next most convenient ship time based on weather predictions here and at the destination. Not all sizes of every plant are available at all times. If you offer substitutions, either in size or plant, we may better serve you if substitutions are needed. There is no minimum order.
- We understand that orders may need to be cancelled on occasion. Should this be necessary for you to do, and it is within a few days prior to shipping, a 10% charge will be assessed to cover restocking and handling expenses.
- Regarding phone orders, although we love to hear from our customers and “talk plants,” please realize that, during the spring particularly, our time is stretched thin. Ordering online is often the fastest. If you have questions, include a note with your order or email us at sales@orientalgardensupply.com and we will do our best to get back to you quickly.
- Payment - Oriental Garden Supply offers several options for payment online. We accept Mastercard, Visa, money orders, and personal checks. Your credit card will be charged 3-4 days prior to actual shipping. If payment is made by money order, your order will ship as soon as weather permits. If payment is made by check, we will ship after the check has cleared our bank, which may take up to 10 days.
For our customers wishing to pay with a credit or debit card, or through direct bank transfer, Oriental Garden Supply offers separate and secure payment processing through our authorize.net gateway.
- Payment is due at the time of purchase; if there is no payment or contact within 24 hours of purchase the transaction will be voided and the item will be returned to inventory.
- Your credit card information or other payment information is never stored, or otherwise accessed in any way by Oriental Garden Supply, either on the website or at our nursery.
- In the rare instance that an unauthorized person does obtain your credit card information and uses it, or in any instance where you have discovered or suspect fraud, you need to immediately contact your credit card company.
- Pricing & Promotions - We periodically update a document that contains our current stock levels and pricing. You may download the latest one here.
If you register for our newsletter, either on our website or at the nursery, we will send you occasional e-mail notices of our plant specials. Generally, the newsletter is issued only a few times per year and you will find helpful hints, coupons, and other useful or fun information in our newsletter. The specials may consist of either material which was particularly successful in propagation, or other special goodies that we only have a few of and are probably not listed on the website. We also alert you to our annual Sad Little Plant Sale, where you will find plants that might need a little extra care to take home and we get to clear off the mats a little for new materials. It's a win-win situation! Please note that we do not rent out or sell our email list.
- Updating Account Information - Please review our Privacy Policy here and keep your account up-to-date. Your account password is encrypted on our server and personal information is never rented, sold, or otherwise revealed.
