Common Name : Hondoensis Yezo Spruce
Product Information : A tall growing tree reaching to 100 feet or more. The species is heavily used as a timber tree in Japan. Has dull red-brown bark that is shallowly fissured and peels off in small scales. A very hardy plant similar to Norway spruce, but does not tolerate hot weather. Used as a single specimen in landscapes and a bonsai subject.
